The present research attempted to conduct a comparative study of ticket sales management in sport mega events of all countries around the world and offer a model commensurate with Iran’s circumstances. This research was applied and qualitative (comparative study). Statistical population was all the countries around the world and statistical sample was as follows: United States of America, England, China, South Korea, Australia, Finland, Canada, Qatar, Germany, Turkey and Iran. Research tools were desk study, official websites of National Olympic Committees of the countries under study, International Olympic Committee, notes and observation of authentic documents records. Multilateral control using a mixed method consisting of focus group and comparative modeling were used for data collection. The results showed that different methods of ticket sales management and distribution were used in selected countries of the world and each of these methods brought about different achievements such as preventing black market, spectator security and control, respecting spectators’ dignity, event security, revenue generation and other previously mentioned advantages. Finally, based on research findings, a model commensurate with Iran’s existing circumstances was offered to improve ticket sales management.
