Determining the status of total quality management (TQM) in the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

The porpuse of this study was determining the status of total quality management in national Olympic committee of Islamic republic of Iran. The method of research was descriptive survey which has done by questionnaire. For this research two questionnaire were used: 1.standard questionnaire of total quality management 2. Questionnaire of individual information. The statistical population of the present study was all employees, managers and experts of the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which were selected as a whole. The statistical method of the present study was descriptive-correlation. In the first part, the research variables were described using descriptive statistical indicators such as: mean and standard deviation. In the second part, the data were analyzed using Friedman statistical test and one-way analysis of variance. Pls software was used to analyze the data in the present study. The results of the present study showed that there is a significant difference between the average of total quality management criteria in the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The results also showed that there is no significant difference between the average opinions of managers, experts and employees of the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding total quality management.
