Identifying and Prioritizing Barriers and Strategies for the Development of Sports Rights in the Sports Committees of West Azerbaijan Province

Abstract

The overall objective of the present study was to identify and prioritize the barriers and strategies for the development of sport rights in the sport committees of West Azerbaijan Province.The type of research was applied and mixed (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population of this study was 11 experts in the qualitative section. Targeted sampling was used for sampling for in-depth interviews. The statistical population of this study consisted of 100 experts,. Due to the small number of statistical population of the study, the sample size was estimated using the whole method. A small part of the researcher-made questionnaire was taken from qualitative work that included 24 questions based on the Likert scale of five values. Content analysis was used to analyze the data in the qualitative stage. In a small stage, T-sample and Friedman test were used to test the research hypotheses, and SPSS software was used to perform the calculations. The results showed that three categories: 1) background barriers, 2) structural barriers and 3) behavioral barriers were identified as the main category. The results of the quantitative section showed that there is a difference between the observed value of the variable between the underlying barriers and its components with the hypothetical value. Individuals and their components differ from the hypothetical value, and there is a significant difference between the three variables of barriers to the development of sports rights in sports delegations of West Azerbaijan Province
